LGMA NSW is pleased to present the 2010 Women in Local Government Mentoring Program.

Designed around professional development, career advancement and networking, the program is aimed at all women within Local Government aspiring to further their careers within the sector.

The Women in Local Government Mentoring Program aims to support and guide women currently working within Local Government to broaden their knowledge of leadership and business, build their networks both internally and externally, create career development opportunities and engage with senior leaders.

Participants are matched with a Mentor who will meet with them on a regular basis to discuss ways in which to develop their career and work through tasks as part of the Mentoring Program.

Participants will attend workshops designed to enhance their professional development, complete on-line assignments, engage in a group project and network with other participants and Mentors of the mentoring program.
