About the LG HR Fair
The LG HR Fair brings the professionals working within the human resources sector of local government together to foster learning and develop capability in order to strengthen the HR function and facilitate the growth of local government. Over two days, delegates will have the opportunity to hear from industry leaders through keynote plenary sessions and panel discussions, participate in master classes tailored to specific topics and to share their knowledge and techniques through group work and networking opportunities.

Mental health is an area that all council staff should be conscious of in their workplace.  This session looks at what are the nuts and bolts of managing employees with mental health concerns, what the law says, what WHS says and what you have to do.
